Nadz on the mend

The ambulance rushed me straight to the Al Zahra hospital ICU in Dubai and that’s where the seizures started…

It has taken me nearly two years to come to some kind of terms with what happened….

Dr Bini suggested my best option was to go to a recovery ward which offered an intense mix of physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. So that’s what I did!

This is where I learnt what true love was. After nine months at my dad’s, I finally made it into Dar Bjorn, the place ideated by my colleague Bjorn at Casino di Venezia, who had ALS.

So, have I learnt to love the new me? Well, partially. I’ve learned a lot.
